Theses
Topics
We offer the following basic thesis projects for a Bachelor or Master degree in civil engineering, safety engineering or computersimulation in science.
- modelling of smoke diffusion using CFD sofware (FDS, ARTSS, OpenFOAM)
- modeling the spread of fire (FDS, inverse Model, Pyrolysis)
- practical experiments on firedynamics - in cooperation with the research center Jülich
- development of new mathematical model for civil engineering
In principle, all topics can be worked on as part of a Bachelor's or Master's thesis, with the workload then being adjusted accordingly. Of course we are open to your individual topic suggestions.
